Production process
Hot-dip galvanizing: includes pickling, water washing, plating assistance, drying, hot-dip plating, cooling, passivation and other processes. Pickling can remove rust and oil stains on the surface of the steel pipe, and plating assistance can improve the adhesion of the zinc layer. Hot-dip plating is to immerse the treated steel pipe in zinc liquid to react with the iron matrix to form a zinc-iron alloy layer and a pure zinc layer. Finally, through cooling and passivation treatment, the corrosion resistance and surface quality of the zinc layer are improved.
Electrogalvanizing: mainly includes degreasing, pickling, activation, electroplating, passivation and other steps. Degreasing can remove grease on the surface of steel pipes, pickling is used to remove oxide scale, activation can improve the activity of the steel pipe surface, and zinc ions are deposited on the surface of steel pipes under the action of DC electric field during electroplating to form a zinc layer. Passivation treatment can improve the corrosion resistance and anti-discoloration ability of the zinc layer.
